Getting here

from Birmingham

At M40 Junction 11 (Banbury) take the A4260 towards Oxford through the villages of Adderbury and Deddington past Hopcrofts Holt Hotel/garage, and after approximately 2 miles take second left for Tackley. Follow directions and map below.

from London

Take M40 Junction 9 (Bicester), A34 towards Oxford, turn off onto B4027 to Bletchington. Stay on this road until you come to a T-junction, A4260 turn right. After half a mile, at Sturdy's Castle pub turn right to Tackley. Follow directions and map below.

from Oxford

Take the A4260 to Sturdy's Castle, and turn right to Tackley. Follow directions and map below.

from the South

From the A34 Oxford Services, take the A44 towards Woodstock. Turn right onto the B4027, then left onto the A4260. See "from Oxford" above.

from the West

Leave the M4 at Junction 15 and take the A420 to Oxford. See "from the South" above.

When you get to Tackley

At the bottom of Church Hill, pass the village green and continue along Medcroft Road, passing the Gardiner Arms on your right. Turn right at the telephone box. This is Nethercote Road, and we (number 55) are on your left, the house with the B&B sign and five bar gate.
